WristGrid / GARMIN WIDGETS FOR IPHONE

Garmin widgets for your iPhone Home Screen & Lock Screen

WristGrid turns supported Garmin watch data into native iPhone widgets, with Garmin-native metrics plus WristGrid-derived sleep and recovery scores on a compatible Garmin setup. Widgets read local cached snapshots and refresh periodically — typically within 15–60 minutes, controlled by WidgetKit — not continuously live.

01 / HEALTH OVERVIEW

A clear read on the signals you track.

Sleep, Recovery, and Activity readings are grouped into a focused health overview. Garmin-native watch data is kept distinct from WristGrid-derived scores, and optional read-only HealthKit data is filtered to Garmin-originated records.

DATA PROVENANCE

What data WristGrid shows.

WristGrid keeps watch-native readings separate from scores and training context it computes in the app.

Garmin-native metrics

  • Steps, step goal, calories, distance, floors, and active minutes
  • Body Battery, heart rate, resting heart rate, respiration, and stress
  • Recovery time, VO2max, SpO2, activity history, and sensor history

Computed by WristGrid

  • Sleep score: duration 40%, structure 30%, efficiency 30%
  • Recovery score: sleep 35%, resting HR 25%, stress 25%, Body Battery 15%
  • Training load: TRIMP, 7-day acute, and 42-day chronic load

Optional Apple Health (HealthKit) is read-only; when used, WristGrid filters it to Garmin-originated records.

LIMITATIONS

Designed for honest glances.

WristGrid is published on the App Store, and the widget experience has clear boundaries.

  • Widgets are cache-only: they may show the last good snapshot or a dash/stale state.
  • The GW Bridge temporal event is 15 minutes; WidgetKit controls actual timeline timing, typically within 15–60 minutes.
  • Widgets never call Garmin or the network directly; open WristGrid to help force a fresh local snapshot.
  • No account, no analytics SDK, and data stays on-device.

04 / TRUST & NEXT ACTION

Concrete privacy, clear product boundaries.

WristGrid requires no account and uses no analytics SDKs.

WristGrid does not upload data to the cloud; widgets read local cached snapshots and data is stored locally on the iPhone.

WristGrid is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garmin.
