Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the WristGrid iPhone app handles information to show your Garmin metrics in iPhone widgets. WristGrid works alongside a Connect IQ companion on your watch, but that companion has its own policy.
It covers supported Garmin-originated Apple Health records and the Garmin-native metrics WristGrid receives for its widgets. It does not govern Garmin, Connect IQ, or Apple Health themselves.

WristGrid is available on the App Store. The App Store product page carries Apple's own privacy labels for the app; this page remains the full, dated policy.
Information processed
WristGrid handles two distinct data flows for its widget experience:
HealthKit records (read-only)
HealthKit data is read-only: WristGrid does not write to HealthKit and does not persist HealthKit data in SwiftData. When you grant HealthKit permission, WristGrid reads supported Apple Health records that originate from Garmin for widget features.
Watch data received for widgets
WristGrid receives selected Garmin-native metrics — Body Battery, Stress, Recovery Time, and Move Bar — from a Connect IQ companion on your watch so it can show them in widgets. Watch/GW Bridge data is stored locally in SwiftData to provide a history. Users can export and delete that local history.
No account is required to use WristGrid, and no account information is requested.
No analytics SDKs are used.
Use and storage
HealthKit access is permissioned by you. Revoking permission stops future reads. The HealthKit flow remains read-only and is not persisted in SwiftData.
The history WristGrid builds from your watch metrics is stored locally on the iPhone in SwiftData. WristGrid does not upload data to the cloud, and Gurfus does not operate a server that receives this data.
Waitlist
If you join the WristGrid launch waitlist, we collect your email address only. We use it to send one confirmation email when you join and one launch notification when WristGrid is live.
Your waitlist email is stored in a self-hosted database on our own server. It is never sold or shared, and it is not linked to analytics or advertising profiles. No analytics SDK is used for the waitlist form.
To unsubscribe or request deletion, reply to the confirmation email or email support@gurfus.dev. We send one confirmation email when you join so you know the signup was received.
Your choices
- HealthKit permission: Grant or revoke WristGrid's access to supported HealthKit records using Apple's health permissions controls. Revoking permission stops future reads.
- Local-history export: Use WristGrid's export control to export your local history.
- Local-history deletion: Use WristGrid's delete control to delete your local history from the iPhone. Revoking Garmin or Connect IQ consent does not itself guarantee deletion of local history WristGrid has already stored.
Because WristGrid requires no account and Gurfus operates no server receiving this data, Gurfus cannot access or delete your local history remotely.
Third-party platforms
WristGrid receives selected Garmin-native metrics from a Connect IQ companion on a compatible Garmin device, and can also use supported Garmin-originated records in Apple Health for widgets.
WristGrid is an independent product. It is not affiliated with Garmin, and it is not endorsed by or sponsored by Garmin. Garmin, Connect IQ, and Apple Health have their own platform terms and controls; this policy describes WristGrid's behavior only. Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the WristGrid product changes. The current version is published on this page with its effective date.
