BATTERYLENS / LOCAL-FIRST DASHBOARD

03 / SESSION

Samples, gaps, and Coverage.

03 / SETUP

No account. Observation while the app is open.

BatteryLens records Battery Samples while you use the app and builds Charge Sessions from what is observed on your iPhone. No Gurfus cloud for your history.

  1. OBSERVE

    Open while charging

Samples accumulate while BatteryLens is active — observed duration, not claimed background telemetry.

  2. COVERAGE

    Inspect Coverage

Coverage shows how much of a session window has samples — uncertainty stays visible.

  3. SNAPSHOT

    Manual snapshot or Privacy

Add Manual battery snapshots when needed. Private Report Mode keeps protected Screen Time UI on-device.

04 / TRUST

Local-first, stated plainly.

Battery samples and Charge Sessions stay on your iPhone. No BatteryLens account. No Gurfus cloud sync for your battery history.

Screen Time and Private Report Mode render within Apple’s on-device boundaries — Gurfus does not receive protected report contents on a server.

What does Coverage mean?

Coverage is the share of a Charge Session window that has Battery Samples. Low Coverage means more of the session is unexplained — BatteryLens shows that honestly instead of filling gaps with invented data.

Does BatteryLens show per-app battery percentages?

No. Activity may correlate Usage Intervals with screen time under Private Report Mode, but BatteryLens never claims per-app battery causality or drain percentages.
