Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how BookmarksMind handles information to save links, triage them in Review, surface a Today agenda, and store Keep items in Vault — including on-device reading of content you choose to open.
It does not govern Apple platforms, the App Store, RevenueCat as a general service, or the websites and apps you bookmark.
Information processed
Bookmarks and captures (on device)
When you share or capture a URL, text, image, or related metadata, BookmarksMind stores that content locally in a SQLite database in the app sandbox. The Share Extension writes temporary JSON payloads to an App Group spool; the main app ingests them into the local database.
On-device content fetches
To enrich or display articles and some social posts you saved, the app may fetch content from those URLs on your device. Fetched content is used to power reading and previews locally.
Purchases
If you buy the lifetime unlock, purchase handling goes through Apple In-App Purchase. BookmarksMind uses RevenueCat to validate and restore entitlements. That flow involves purchase/receipt-related identifiers — not your bookmark vault contents.
No BookmarksMind account is required, and no account information is requested by Gurfus.
Gurfus does not use analytics or advertising SDKs in BookmarksMind.
Use and storage
Bookmark data is stored locally on your iPhone. Gurfus does not operate a BookmarksMind cloud backend that receives your vault for sync.
Free-tier monthly save quota is tracked locally on device. Deleting bookmarks does not free used monthly quota.
Your choices
- Delete bookmarks: Delete is a hard delete in the app for items you remove.
- Remove the app: Uninstalling BookmarksMind removes local app data from the device according to iOS behavior.
- Purchases: Manage or restore In-App Purchases with your Apple ID / App Store tools.
Because Gurfus does not host your vault, Gurfus cannot remotely access or delete your local bookmarks.
Third-party platforms
BookmarksMind relies on Apple platforms for Share Sheet, storage sandboxing, and In-App Purchase. RevenueCat assists with purchase entitlement validation. Sites and services you bookmark have their own terms and policies.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the BookmarksMind product changes. The current version is published on this page with its effective date.
